Instituto Wu Wei — Integrative Medicine, hereinafter referred to as the Clinic, is the controller of personal data processed on this platform, under Brazilian Law no. 13,709/2018 (LGPD).
We collect sensitive personal health data (Art. 11, LGPD) provided by the data subject or the responsible healthcare professional, including: full name, date of birth, CPF, email, phone, address, clinical history, medications, diagnoses, and health diary records.
Data is processed exclusively for: (i) providing integrative health services; (ii) clinical monitoring and electronic medical records; (iii) patient communication; (iv) compliance with legal obligations. We do not share data with third parties for commercial purposes.
Sensitive health data is processed based on the data subject's explicit consent (Art. 11, II, "a" of the LGPD) and/or for the protection of the data subject's health (Art. 11, II, "f" of the LGPD), as applicable.
You have the right to: confirm the existence of processing; access your data; correct incomplete or outdated data; request anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary data; data portability; revoke consent; and request deletion of data processed based on consent. To exercise your rights, use the My Data section in your patient panel or contact the clinic by email.
Data is retained for the period necessary to provide services and comply with legal obligations, including the minimum medical record retention period under CFM Resolution no. 1,821/2007 (20 years from last appointment).
We adopt appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, including in-transit encryption (TLS), role-based access control, and audit logging.
